Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (Abu Dhabi) is currently recruiting for the following positions:

Position Criteria
Consultant Diabetologist Holder of CCST, US Board Certification in Diabetes and Endocrinology or equivalent.
Consultant Paediatric Diabetologist Holder of CCST, US Board Certification in Diabetes and Endocrinology or equivalent.
Assistant Finance Manager
  • CA;
  • A minimum of 3 years healthcare experience preferably from within the UAE;
  • Experience in a computerised accounting system is essential;
  • Below the age of 30 years is desirable.

Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (Al Ain) is currently recruiting for the following positions:

Position Criteria
Consultant Diabetologists Holds UK CCST, US Board Certification, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in diabetic diseases.
Diabetes Educators Holds a Nursing degree and a 6 month post graduate specialist Diabetes training course with a minimum of 4 years experience.
Must be bilingual in Arabic and English.
Dieticians Holds a Nutrition and Dietetics degree with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Must be bilingual in Arabic and English.
Cardiac Technician Holds a Diploma in Radiography and a certificate in Cardiac Echocardiography.
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
Preferably Bi-lingual in Arabic and English
Ultrasonograher / Radiographer Holds a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Radiography with a minimum 6 years experience in Ultrasonography; Bone Mineral Densitometry experience desirable;
Arabic is an advantage

Imperial College London Diabetes Centre will be opening a second facility in Al Ain specialising in outpatient Diabetes Treatment. It is expected to open to the public during the summer 2011.

As with the Centre in Abu Dhabi, the new Al Ain Centre will allow the highest level of specialised patient care from first diagnosis to the management of all the complications associated with diabetes.
