In line with the current physical distancing measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19, Imperial London College Diabetes Centre has launched a Medication Delivery Service to ensure that you, our patient, receive prescriptions safely, without having to collect your medicine in person at our pharmacies.


Medication Delivery Service FAQ’s

What type of medications can be requested through this service?
All medications which you would normally pick up from the pharmacy can be delivered to you EXCEPT controlled medications and narcotics. This service includes new prescriptions as well as refills, as long as you have refills remaining.
How do I use the service?
First time Use Medication
If you are being prescribed a medication for the first time, your physician should have explained the usage instructions during your face to face consultation or teleconsultation. If you are unsure about the administration of amedication, please request that a pharmacist contact you. You can do this by simply putting in the request in the comment box of this form.
Medication Refills
If you are requesting a medication refill for delivery, please complete the Medication Delivery Request form on this page at least 14 working days before you need a refill. If you require your medications immediately, please indicate it in the comment box of the Medication Delivery Request form.
If I’m using a medication for the first time, how will I know how to take it correctly?
If you are being prescribed a medication for the first time, and you are unsure of how to use it, please do not start the medication before discussing the usage instructions with one of our pharmacists.

How long will it take for my medications to be delivered?
Due to high demand for our medication delivery service, please allow up to a minimum of 10 working days for your medications to be delivered and make sure to order your refill at least 14 days prior to your medication refills.

If you require your medications immediately, please indicate it in the comment box of the Medication Delivery Request form.
Is there a cost to use the medication delivery service?
Our medication home delivery service will be provided to you free-of-charge for the first 3 months.
What should I do if one of my medications is missing or if I have questions about my medications?
Please make sure that you have received the correct medications and check the quantity listed on the package before signing for your delivery.
What should I do if I am unable to reach the phone number provided?
We apologise if you have been unable to reach us. We are experiencing high call volumes supporting other patients. Please try again later or send us your inquiry using the Medication Delivery Request form on this page and we will revert to you as the earliest.
