Diabetes & Health Hub

To help drive efforts towards a healthier UAE, the Public Health team at ICLDC offers the following interactive workshops in English and Arabic to schools, universities and organisations.

As part of our Public Health initiatives, we conduct onsite HbA1c screenings for private and public sector organisations. An HbA1c blood test is one of the most important tests to identify people with diabetes or pre-diabetes. The test measures the average blood sugar level over the past 2 or 3 months.

Through a series of interactive and fun workshops, the events aim to educate children living with diabetes and their parents about the importance of living healthily, as well as how preventing and managing diabetes can be achieved.
