Biography
Dr. Kuzhively has over 10 years of experience in Internal Medicine with a specialized focus on Endocrinology for eight years.
Dr. Kuzhively earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, in 2007. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Illinois, in 2015, and received certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Following this, he pursued a 2-year fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Rush University Medical Center, Illinois, in 2017, obtaining Diplomate status in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism from the American Board of Internal Medicine. n May 2023, Dr. Kuzhively was honored as a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. He also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Prior to joining ICLDC, Dr. Kuzhively worked at UnityPoint Clinic, Illinois, US, as a Consultant Endocrinologist.
Dr. Kuzhively’ scope of practice covers type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodule, parathyroid and osteoporosis.
