Chicken Liver with pomegranate molasses

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion- sliced
  • 1 green pepper-sliced
  • ¼ cup pomegranate molasses
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • pepper to taste

Method

  • Wash chicken livers, boil with bay leaf and half an onion and discard water
  • Cut up chicken liver into small pieces
  • In a skillet, heat oil and add onion and green pepper and sauté till golden in color
  • Add chicken livers and brown
  • Add pomegranate molasses and lemon juice along with salt and pepper and leave to simmer for a couple of minutes
