This one day workshop is aimed at candidates and potentialcandidates for the MRCP (UK) PACES (Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills) exam, focusing on Stations 2 & 4 with emphasis on theskills of Clinical Communication and Managing Patients’ Concerns.

Participants get to practice these stations with the aid of experienced facilitators who will provide feedback and advice. With minimised lecture time the programme allows participants as much time as possible to practice scenarios in small groups and to participate in group feedback sessions to encourage shared learning.

Time will be spent exploringthe skills needed to pass these stations, with discussions regarding the most common scenarios used at these stations. The skills taught are transferrable to all aspects of medical practice.
