In the field of diabetes and endocrinology, Dr. Najeeb Waheed has treated most conditions during his wide, varied practice in the UK where he received awards for clinical excellence, played an active role in medical education, becoming a sought-after examiner.
Dr. Najeeb’s particular interest is helping patients living with Type 2 diabetes with weight management as maintaining a normal body weight is proven to help manage, reverse and even prevent diabetes. But it doesn’t stop here. He has published many sought-after articles and is known for his deep knowledge of Insulin Pump and Risk Factor management - to reduce the onset of associated complications, including heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, renal conditions, foot and eye problems.
At ICLDC since 2014, Dr. Najeeb also supports patients with endocrine issues - thyroid dysfunctions, calcium disorders, electrolyte abnormalities, pituitary disease, adrenal problems and hypogonadism.
