Biography
Somewhat a pioneer, Dr. Ousha Al Kuwaiti is a one of a growing band of emerging Emirati doctors.
Captivated by the medical profession and energised about how she can help carry the ‘healthy lifestyle’ message to the greater UAE, Dr. Ousha focused her early practise at Al Ain and Tawam hospitals, as well as Al Ain’s Al Masoudi Family Centre. Her practice at the centre’s ‘Well Woman Clinic’ saw her treat women’s health, both preventive and therapeutic, as well as treating hypertensive diabetes patients. At the same time she tutored medical students and mentored interns while also participating in the setting of local guidelines of HTN, hyperlipidemia and antenatal care.
Dr. Ousha has gathered a broad yet deep skillset bringing her passion and experience in diabetes management to her patients at ICLDC, focusing on hypertension, asthma, osteoporosis and vitamin D deficiency. Dr. Ousha joined ICLDC in 2014.
