Dietetic Services

Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is a essential element of diabetes education, management and prevent other health complications. MNT is defined as a "nutrition-based treatment provided by a clinical dietitian using different tools and assessment forms to provide an efficient nutrition diagnosis. The dietetic services offered at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre helps you manage your diabetes and improve your blood glucose levels by making sure your diet and nutrition is aligned with your treatment plan.

Services

At Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, a dietitian usually work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, to help improve your knowledge and confidence in managing your diabetes. A dietitian may work with you one-to-one or in a group, often as part of the Structured Education Programme offered at ICLDC for Type 1 patients.

If you’re living with diabetes, our qualified dietitians help you understand how the right diet and nutrition can impact your condition and are available to help you achieve your goals by providing advice on the below:
